I’ll begin today with a subject I mentioned last week, namely the starved 3 year old boy by an ultra-religious mother. the boy is doing well physically and yesterday left hospital for a so far unknown destination, and the mother is under house arrest in her home, but will probably come to trial. Her religious sect are of course behind her, but this last Sabbath they only demonstrated again because of the open parking lot. With that they won’t give up so easily.
Yesterday we heard that the first victim of Swine Flue in Israel died. There have been about a thousand cases of this disease during the the last month or so, but this is the first death - hopefully the last one. Evidently the number of Swine Flue patients all over the world are increasing steadily.
