Today is the third day of the “Freedom March” for our kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit. Evidently about    10,000 people have joined his parents in the march of solidarity for this unfortunate young man who has been a captive  of Hamas for the last four years. He has been kept in solitary confinement, and no one, not even the  International Red  Cross has been allowed to see him, and no one knows what his condition, physical and/or mental is.

This Freedom March  is on the way to Jerusalem, will take eleven days, and is planned to end in front of the Prime Minister’s house, in the hope of pressuring the government to meet Hamas’s demands for his release. But it does not look very hopeful , Hamas has said they will strengthen their demands - and we can only wait and see.
