Today is the third day of the “Freedom March” for our kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit. Evidently about 10,000 people have joined his parents in the march of solidarity for this unfortunate young man who has been a captive of Hamas for the last four years. He has been kept in solitary confinement, and no one, not even the International Red Cross has been allowed to see him, and no one knows what his condition, physical and/or mental is.
This Freedom March is on the way to Jerusalem, will take eleven days, and is planned to end in front of the Prime Minister’s house, in the hope of pressuring the government to meet Hamas’s demands for his release. But it does not look very hopeful , Hamas has said they will strengthen their demands - and we can only wait and see.
