Frustrated, but certainly no quitter, Sessoms spent nearly one million of of our tax dollars chasing another project, an arena that may just have to be built by, guess who (FOW’s)?
You say that you never knew Obama was a "Southerner?"
Let's just say that standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Sessoms on that poster conferred certain rights to Obama that Obama might not ever have been able to gain on his own. Frankly, if Sessoms is telling us that, in his opinion, Obama is a fine "Southern Gentlemen," then, by golly, I'm going to have to just accept that as fact.
In fact, I'm going to help spread the love that Sessoms showed for Obama back in 2008 by fixing that poster to the tailgate of "Big Ugly," my white, Chevy work truck and parading all over town.
When your mayor is pals with Obama, then people should know!
