The war-weary United States was sold on the theory that the UN would prevent war. History has proven otherwise.
In the Korean War, we did not declare war as is required by our Constitution. We got into it by way of a UN Security Council Resolution.
As a result, all of our military plans and communications went to the UN so that the enemy knew all our military secrets. We could have won the war. We lost the war, and tens of thousands of our troops are still in Korea.
The Vietnam War was fought under the auspices of SEATO, a UN agency. We could have won the war. We lost the war.
In Iraq: President H. W. Bush sought and received a UN Security Council Resolution for the first invasion of Iraq boasting that it was needed to promote “The New World Order.” George W. Bush sought and obtained another UN Resolution for the second invasion of Iraq.
The U.S. military has become the enforcement arm of the United Nations
Irrespective of the fact that Article 2 of the UN Charter states: “nothing contained in the present Charter shall authorize the United Nations to intervene in matters which are essentially within the domestic jurisdiction of any state…,” that is not the case.
The UN has been involved in, and/or plans to control in America:
Abortion; Capital punishment; Border control; Mining; Judicial decisions; Reparations for blacks; Control over our law enforcement officers; Gun control (confiscation); Destruction of private property, where and how we will live, transportation; Mass migration of refugees to change our culture; Presidential election overseeing.

Globalism-loving socialist Antonio Guterres of Portugal, infamous primarily for helping to engineer the massive tsunami of Islamic immigration into the West, has been officially selected as the next secretary-general of the United Nations. His prescription for what ails the world: more socialism at the planetary level, more power for the UN, more “global governance,” and more mass migration from the Third World to Western countries. In other words, more of the same extremism that already has the world and the West on the brink. See On the Brink
