Creigh Deeds – A Man Without Honor?

Doug Wilder, no endorsement?- Not Really.
When is no endorsement, an endorsement? When a principled man refuses to yield to the urges of the President and his party’s leadership to put the seal of approval on a candidate without honor.
Follow up:

Wilder has never endorsed a Republican. And never will. It is also no secret that Wilder and Republican Bob McDonnell have had a dialog with one being the capital city Mayor and the other the Commonwealth’s Attorney General. Between them is a genuine mutual respect of the others' sincerity and accomplishments.
Hence, when Deeds launched a “mudslinging” campaign attacking McDonnell’s personality, distorting his record, and fabricating untruths, Wilder a man with rectitude leveled the ethical response; withhold advocacy for unacceptable expressions of a virtuous man.
Further, Wilder realizes, in all likelihood, Deeds’ campaign will experience voter backlash by alienating undecided voters and centrists by concentrating on refutable personal attacks and ignoring substantive issues.

Wilder is an active political player. I ask you, if Wilder really believed Deeds would prevail would he withhold his endorsement?
Take Wilder's action as an educated prediction rather than how it will help or hinder the vote tally.
