Light Rail Referendum Petition Central Established

Less than one hundred feet from the Norfolk-Southern right-of-way and three hundred yards from the Newtown Rd light rail station (under construction), the first fixed signature gathering station for light rail referendum petition drive has been established.

Acrylic Design & Fabrication, 5748 Southern Blvd. will serve as an ad hoc headquarters for volunteer petition pickup/drop off station as well as a signature gathering location.

A four by eight foot sign will be prominently placed on the private commercial zoned property announcing the station’s location.

The station is situated in an excellent location and visible to a daily traffic flow of 50,000 vehicles per day.

Other gathering stations are being sought.
