Cold snap hampers petition gathering efforts

Virginia 8th District 2010 special election next scheduled major effort
Follow up:
It would appear that Mr. Jack Frost enjoys biting the noses and ears of Virginia Beach light rail referendum volunteer petition gatherers. Standing outside at libraries, DMV, recreation centers, convention centers, and so forth is a frost biting experience. However, the signature gathers are a hearty bunch and are now life-long members of the Campbell's soup club.
This magnanimous effort can stand to use additional volunteers to cover most of the predominate turn-out polling places in the upcoming special election. The goal is a single petition sheet per person. A lot of people doing a little bit is more productive than a few people doing a lot.
The following are Virginia 8th Senate District polling places for the January 12, 2010 special election which will present yet another opportunity to collect light rail referendum signatures.

Editor note: No. Just two candidates. Hopefully, you will be able to sign a petition to have a referendum on light rail in November. Any one who needs a petition blank give me a call at 581-4287 or download a Light Rail petition form.
