Beach squanders $228K on land-use study
Throw in the towel on these wasteful imbeciles
One would think that with a municipality in a budget crunch, contemplating raising property taxes or creating a garbage fee, there would be an effort to look for economies.
Follow up:
The city's primary function is to provide essential services first, and discontinue discretionary spending when necessary. Hello! City Council . . . is anybody home. Next, we will need a study on the type of elevator for a one-story building.
Additionally, let's face it. We have six figure salaried staff sitting on their duffs generating E-mails and playing with Power Point rather than creating innovative plans for the city. That's called duplication of efforts and a waste of resources.
Are we going to trust these folks to make the big decision about light-rail on their own, or are they going to need a study to interpret the study?
Unbelievable!
