Second House Armed Services Committee member gives thumbs-up to 2nd Congressional District hopeful

Congressman Trent Franks(R-Arizona) has endorsed Scott Taylor for Congress. Franks sits on the Armed Services Committee with current Second Congressional incumbent Glenn Nye.

This is the second member of the committee which has sided up with the energetic Taylor. Congressman Duncan Hunter(R-California), has previously marked his stamp of approval on the former Navy seal and now business owner.

Of interest, Franks served on the committee in which former 2nd District Congresswoman Thelma Drake had a seat. Drake was influential in Scott Rigell, founder of Freedom Ford, throwing his hat into the 2nd District ring but as of yet hasn’t able to get any of her former Congressional peers to recognize Rigell.

Hunter will be hosting a fundraiser for Scott Taylor this upcoming March 5th with “Survivor” television star and retired SEAL Rudy Boesch in attendance.
